As we wrap up the year with our final Digital Download of 2025, we’ve also included a summary of all the new features and key changes we’ve introduced to help you work faster and more efficiently.

November updates  

A complete digital platform

Supercharge your efficiency and find the information you need faster with our new digital feature releases.

Download chat history on demand 

Our new chat history feature allows you to: 

  • access up to seven years of your previous chats, conveniently located directly within the chat window or from the Adviser Online help screen
  • filter by start date or summary, or use the free-text search to find a specific conversation.
  • print your chat transcripts.

A new administration tab in Adviser Online

To help you streamline your operations, we’ve created a new ‘Administration’ tab in Adviser Online. This is now home to your automated plans and investment settings, making it easier to manage and implement your clients’ strategies with precision. Soon, it’ll also include portfolio trading features when we begin transitioning those to Adviser Online.

Third party authority (TPA) view for Cash accounts in Adviser Online

Viewing third-party access in Adviser Online just got a whole lot easier. We’ve launched an improved TPA view to give you immediate and transparent insight into account authorities. Here’s what’s new:

  • a new 'Connected parties' tile at account level: you’ll find one tab with all account owners, and another showing third-party authority holders including their name, role, and authority level
  • a new TPA page at client level: you can view every TPA across all of a client’s accounts in one convenient spot, with the search and filter feature making it easier to find what you’re looking for.

This is the first step in our journey to give you a fully digital way to manage TPAs in Adviser Online.

Other important changes

Up-to-date information on our investment strategies

We’ve updated the specific details about the investment strategies of our investment options and added them to our investment menu. The information about the objectives, strategy, target return, target risk, SRM, suggested minimum timeframe and sub-strategy in the investment menu replaces that in our PDSs.

2025 highlights

A complete digital platform

We’ve worked hard to simplify the way you manage your clients’ accounts and get quick support when you need it. Here are some of the key improvements we’ve rolled out:

  • significant Request Centre uplifts giving you: 
    • a greater range of request types and clearer status updates
    • more intuitive request creation
    • increased file upload size
    • the addition of estimated completion times 
    • platform notifications informing you of outstanding requirements
    • visibility for your entire team.  
  • time-saving digital workflows for super rollovers in from external funds, and account closures (CMA and Accelerator accounts). 
  • Adviser Online enhancements, including:
    • the ability to update recurring pension payments, with more flexible payment dates and on-screen calculation logic
    • richer reporting with the ability to generate ‘Capital flows’ and ‘Income and expenses reports’ for your clients’ wrap accounts and sort the order of Report Builder packs
    • a new Adviser Online Clients page and enhanced client search.
  • a better chat experience with a pre-chat form that connects you to the right specialist, an improved download reminder and the flexibility to initiate a chat 24/7 and get notified of replies via browser notifications
  • a revamped Adviser Help Centre with improved content that uses a new Google-powered search engine to help you find the information you need.

Greater protection for you and your clients  

Servicing you and your clients in the most secure way remains our highest priority. We’re always working to deliver best-in-class protection and have introduced new measures below to keep you and your clients safe:  

  • added protection against fraud for cash bulk transacting by replacing the General Withdrawal Authority with the Financial Services Debit Authority and Tax Authority 
  • an extra layer of security against scams and fraud with the launch of our 'Confirmation of Payee' service   
  • enhanced fraud detection capabilities for payments  
  • better visibility into your clients’ Macquarie Authenticator registration status.
